I'm christian, or at least half christian, since I don't support ALL of their ideas; anyway, I think I can understand when people say the world would be better without religion, but I think it's not actually religion but what man has made of religion, cause I think the reason there's so much hatred between faiths and such is because of man wanting their religion to be the all true and all powerful. Sadly humanity will never understand there's no absolute truth in this world...

@CM99501 Because of the pope's and Church's intellectual oppression, they were fooled into thinking such things. Many of the Crusader knights truly thought Jesus was a wealthy land owner, or the sources I have seen have said so. If they just would have been allowed to read the very text they were forced to believe, the war wouldn't have had the already low number of troops they had. But of course, greed played a role in it, from the highest up down to the peasantry of northern Europe.

@ZackAttack261 I guess I believe in him because I believe he is the true god, but it doesn't mean that I am right; I can be wrong, It's only what I believe. Maybe the real god is some other god, but like I said, it's what I believe in. It doesn't matter who is right or who is wrong, what only matters is what EVERYONE believes in, and maybe learn something from each faith.

btw I don't believe in a god that will punish those who do not believe in him :)
