Brought to you by http://www.stitchkingdom.com Walt Disney Imagineers conduct a test with one of the more than 1,200 water jets that will make World of Color, a nighttime water, animation, fire and musical extravaganza, come to life in Spring 2010 in Paradise Bay Lagoon at Disneys California Adventure. The fountain being tested can reach 200 in the air. Footage courtesy of the Disneyland Resort.

  • lol imagined 100 of those guysers lol

  • WET Design is a fountain company. Examples of their shows are the Fountains of Bellagio in Las Vegas, the Dubai Fountain, and the "leap frogs", "jellyfish" and reverse waterfall (and the Fountain of Nations) at EPCOT in Florida. WET was rumored to be involved in World Of Color talks at the start, but I've found no evidence of this, even after visiting WET. Waltzing Waters, builders of "Liquid Fireworks", were also reportedly contacted in the early days for a possible floating lagoon show.

  • holy hell thats high imagine all the trippy cool magical colorful disney goodness at night your gonna see cant zac effin wait for this

  • @PatternIsFull whats this WET you guys keep talking about?

  • As far as I know, WET was never actually involved in the construction itself. These Blow Pops look nothing like SuperShooters, really - the nozzles themselves, I mean. The effect is essentially the same. This show uses loads of technology WET doesn't really work in.

  • Yay!

  • But then WET has absolutely nothing to do with this show now anyway.

  • i went there about about a month and a half ago and i saw all the construction. the ferris wheel had just opened back up when i got there after being turned into mickey's fun wheel

  • I know... Disney had to have everything Re-done, errr customized to the Disney name.

They should have just gone with WET's original shooters though.
