A representation of a 1960's Drive In Theatre once popular in Australia and the USA. Idea based on a toy Drive In from the same era. All cars are from the 50's and 60's. Note the panel van is reversed in to the speakers to allow viewing from the "bed"! Note the plkayground at the foot of the screen
VERY COOL!!!!!!

This is sooooooo cool! I absolutely love the attention to detail you put into this, and the little marque light is great! About 15 years ago B&B Theatres restored a drive-in in Moberly, MO called the Moberly 5 & Drive (5 indoor theatres & the drive-in). This model kinda reminds me of that drive in before 1984 when it was closed due to vandals wrecking the projection booth and snack bar. In 1996 it was razed for the new building and the screen recycled. Wow! I'm long winded! Thanks!
