A test of my "old-fashioned" hard drive.

I think this test (although I didn't open 50 apps) is a great representation of the difference between a solid state drive and a spinning drive.

  • Foxit Reader is much faster, just an FYI. I don't know if that is available for Macs.

  • I don't know if they make it for mac. But Foxit Reader has a much much smaller foot print than adobe. Its the first thing I do when I build a computer or am asked to speed a computer up.

  • adobe software opens up slow for me as well xD!
