Ever since I first heard this silly little song I wished 'The Hobbit' really was a movie...if only so I could make a music video to this song:-P But then I decided I didn't need a 'Hobbit' movie to make the vid.....I could just use Lord of the Rings clips...and so that's exactly what I did :)

Starring: Ian Holm as Bilbo Baggins
Created: November 2005
Music: Ballad of Bilbo Baggin by Leonard Nimoy

  • Ha, I used this in a powerpoint for my class.

    Full marks!

  • Really? What was the class?

  • Just so u all know there planning to make The Hobbit in 2008 or 2009 around May

  • Yes, and I'm very excited about it :)

  • "The Hobbit" really is a movie.

  • There is an animated one, yes, but by "movie" I meant a live action movie, with real people :) And they haven't filmed that one yet and back when I made this movie they hadn't even decided to make the new Hobbit film yet (this vid was made nearly 3 years ago).

  • bilbo was wy better than frodo imo

  • dildo baggings

  • nice sync

  • @lamlyn I disagree. In fact, even before I "discovered" LN, he looks the way I imagined Gandalf, even though I read the books after watching the movies

Why do you see IM as a more accomplished actor? I think that both he and LN are brilliant, though they're both very different in how they act, so one can't really compare between them. And LN could very easily do the accent. He has incredible voice skills :)

However, if you disagree, I'm good with that. We just have different opinions :)

  • @StoneKnivesBearskins there isn't enough description in the book to credit casting Leonard Nimoy over Sir Ian McKellen. Sir Ian is a more accomplished actor and I severely doubt whether Leonard Nimoy could have pulled off a convincing accent. Frankly, in my opinion, McKellen's Gandalf was one of the best things about the films and casting an American actor known for spock offers no logical advantage to me. Just my view though..
