  • Please don't get hung up on that statement and take it too literally. Of course everyone has the right to feel whatever they want. The message of this video is one of hope. If feel so hopeless and unable to do anything about your situation, well take a look at Dickoy what he has to deal with every single day. He refuses to let it defeat him. And like him, you can do something to uplift your life. You have a choice. I believe even people suffering from depression can still enrich their lives.

  • The word depression is used in a different context. There is more than one kind of depression. There's depression the disease or disability. And there's the kind where people are simply sad about their life and their problems (watch the video) and think that they really have it tough.

  • I can inform you, that everyone can help finding a cure for

Muscular Dystrophy. Please write BOINC or worldcommunitygrid into the search field of Youtube or any search engine for further info

Running the Programm BOINC on your homecomputer you donate unused computer capacity to researchers. One of their projects is about

Muscular Dystrophy. Please note that this is fundametal research. So, a cure cannot be expected too soon, unfortunately. BOINC is safe and has been working several years now.

  • Well said.

  • Actually-how kennnnnethchua described it (the person who posted the video) is beautifully expressed!

  • Aidann-take what is said with a grain of salt. He is not specifically talking about people who suffer from clinical and debilitating depression. The point is to be generally thankful for what you have and not to take things for granted. Also, that life could be a lot worse in some cases so try to look at the glass as half full. It's meant as an inspirational message for others and not meant as disrespect to depressives.

  • everyone has the right to feel all emotions including depression. how ridiculous to say no one has the right to feel depressed.

  • i agree with you :)

  • I don't like it when you said that people have no right to be depressed, depression is a mantal disability, not something you have a choice about.

  • Yes! I first heard him shared last 2003 Singles For Christ Conference in Manila. Thanks Dikoy for your generousity in sharing your story, it has been bearing great fruits! I'm just glad that you're now in you tube where I could now tell my friends to visit and hear you talk . you're always be a part of my transformation story, esp in service. God bless!
