  • What channel do I put on? Cuz I connected it to my TV and nothings happening. I even tried input.

  • @1boyeee760 The input of your TV must match the input connections of the Roku,

  • I believe most, if not all, of the content is for the US only.

  • When it comes to the USB port and not streaming video, What type of video formats will it play and what will it not play ? Or is it picky like some ( Example ) I have a WD & a O-Play and the Western Digital is picky on video formats, Or does this even play a type of video format at all ?

  • @NB5BHVL The USB 2.0 port works with the free Roku USB Media Player channel. Video support: MP4 (H.264), MOV (H.264), MKV (H.264) ASF/WMV (WMV9/VC-1). Audio support: MP3, AAC, Dolby Digital (MP4, MOV and MKV pass through only), DTS (MKV pass through only). Image support: JPG, PNG.

    COMING SOON...

Has Hulu Plus ever arrived with the XD/S?

I know the XD/S was replaced in Summer of 2011 by the Roku 2 XS (with annoying ANGRY BIRDS) but I'm looking at a Craigslist sale of the XD/S for $40 instead of paying $99 for XS, whose only redeeming value over XD/S is some slingshot bird game.

Basically the XS is an extra $60 for a bird game.

Someone please - Has HULU PLUS been added to the XD/S prior to it's discontinue?

  • @NB5BHVL So you can connect a USB drive and play the video files on it and so on?

  • Roku only plays instant Que?

  • @GamingCurse You can watch videos or movies on your TV using the Roku USB Media Player channel. You should check with the Roku web site for additional information.

  • Does the Roku work outside of US?

  • @jpltim Thank you
