Covering this song in the band I'm in... Always LOVED James Dewar... I've always been a singing bassist, so guys like Dewar & Lynott were my idols... Wish I could figure out how to simulate the "wind" effect at the end of the song. I think that would knock it out of the park... Oh, and @generationx1966... Well put...

@generationx1966 if you want classic sounding bands now days check out '77-big smoker pig, graveyard- the siren, ghost-ritual, witchcraft-no angel or demon. theres good stuff just got to look past whats "popular".

@MrPorsche91730 Oh yeah... Makes me feel grateful to have developed, musically, during a time of such GREAT inspiration... I think things are starting to swing back for the better again though, with serious radio... The inspirational artist are really out there, you just aren't gonna ever hear them on mainstream radio... R.I.P Phil Lynott, and Gary More, and James Dewar...

@Bassballs5 Phil Lynott right the fuck on man!. Bob Dylan callest the greatest poetic songwriter of all time. High praise indeed

Been a bassist vocalist all my life... James Dewar, (and Phil Lynott) were my idols as a kid... Now I'm in a new band that is covering some of this stuff again, (a trio of course) and I can't believe the response we're getting when we play this... I thought nobody cared about real music anymore... At least where I am, in s/w Florida... This is what people want to hear...

Told my young talanted son to study this album because of the emense power
exerted with a minimal of fluff, its not how many notes you can play, but how
well you can expertly arrange a few
