Longwall Hydraulic Performance Modelling

BMT WBM: WBM's Longwall Hydraulic Model allows the performance of the hydraulic system to be assessed. The characterisitics of the pumps (including unloader valves), the reticulation hosing, the in-shield valves, cylinder design and the method of operating the face are all input to the model. The most cost-effective way of improving the speed of advancing the shields can be found using the model.
