  • I remember this day. I'm Chamorro and born on Saipan but I followed my friends in this because many of them have relatives and/or themselves aren't u.s. citizens and it sucks that since the island's getting federalized, many of them have to move away. >:( It really makes me mad that these people who come here to live a better life will be denied that because of the government. How would you feel if someone tried to take away your happiness? >: (

  • Saipan is very fortunate to have TINA SABLAN,tina has a genuine heart she is a humble and soft spoken.everyone has a right to freedom of speech, and indeed you guys just made a history in Saipan..This island need leaders like her and it's about time.. People dis agree with Tina because they know that she knows what she is doing! So keep it up Tina!we will support you all through out!GOD HAVE MERCY

  • Your children are only "natural born citizen" because you chose to breed whilst on island, if you did not have so many children your life would be more managable and you would not mind going home to your beloved country, you intentionally had children in the CNMI so you could try and swindle your way into the U.S.

You have a hidden agenda and you know it!

    well said mydogneo

  • Workers are not just from Philippines. AND so many of us, we lived here longer than we lived in Philippines, China or Bangladesh. We have families and US Citizen children here in our HOME.

  • the first part of your statement was well said mydogneo, the rest I beg to disagree, the issue here is not about patriotism, it is about separation of families, we do not claim something in here that we don't own, coz we don't. What we wish is the issue of having the right to stay with our children who you should be amenable is his homeland too being a natural-born citizen. Nothing personal, just heartfelt issue of not leaving people you loved no matter what.

  • It is sad to see these workers who no longer have love for the Philippines where their experience, intelligence, and skill can greatly contribute to their ailing country. Why can't you people have the same patriotism and fervor for your homeland instead of trying to lay claim to something you do not own.

  • you know what's "fundamentally unnfair"? Not having a delegate in the US house
