  • @realbeetlejuice

Thanks, I apppreciate the compliment and do what I can to help!

  • Sorry, one other thing. I found it for $65 at w w w.ergo-items(dot com) flextend _ glove(dot)htm, but it asks Left or Right hand - is this a mistake? I thought the glove was reversible. I have the most pain my right hand, forearm and elbow - I sometimes can't lift a juice glass. I'm living on Ibuprofen. Right now I only have soreness in my left palm and wrist., but I'd certainly prefer to be able to use on both hands. Is this an older model? Thanks again for all your help!

Sorry for the late reply, I've been out of commission. That is the older model. Right now there is a discount at flextend (.com) by using code SUMR2011 to save 20% off the reversible unit. Sale is until 8-31-2011 so it ends on Wednesday. Living on anti-inflammatory medications is not good. Address the problem so you can get back to doing the things you want in a pain-free manner.

  • Hi URehab.

I was under the impression that extending the wrist was a good thing since your instruction in the previous videos is to extend the wrist and fingers.

Maybe you mean that too much wrist extension is not good but just a bit is OK?

    Thanks.

  • @blaboboy

You do extend the wrist and fingers on every exercise as you move from a semi-closed fist in flexion to an open-handed position via extension of the fingers and wrist. But, you stop at the neutral / straight position when performing Palm-Up or Thumb-Up Elbow Moving exercises to avoid the nerve stretch reflex. Although you can move into hyperextension in the isolated exercises when the elbow is flexed, you still don't try to force the wrist backward beyond its natural limitation.

  • I'm about to buy the glove and AC kit. I'm sure I saw a chart somewhere to measure the width of your palm before purchase. But now all I can find is measuring from first wrist crease to tip of middle finger. The length of my hand measures 7" but I have always had fleshier fingers and am afraid of ordering a glove that is too small. I'm not sure finger width makes a difference with fit. Did you post such a chart of did I imagine it? Thank you so much for all of your videos. You're wonderful!

  • thanks for this, i was doing some things wrong apparently :)
