How to use a ps3 controller on mac with emulators

me showing you lot on how to use the wii remote, xbox 360 and ps3 controller so that you can use it with most emulators.
NOTE: Need high powered leopard or snow leopard to run most of these packages and apps.

I'm trying to use a wrapper called Wineskin 2.0 for mac os x 10.6.6 to play gta2. The control configuration screen reacts to the controller, but the game doesn't when I actually launch the game. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Alright so I have my ps3 mote all set up and the controls are put in and they all show up as being the playstation 3 controller but when I try to use it in game (twisted metal 2) it doesn't work?

Keyboard works for controls but when i switch it to analog it doesnt respond to the controller.

Is this just how some emulated games are? am I really gunna have to play twisted metal with a keyboard?

when i enter for putting the ps3 options i rescan and the conclusion doesnt come up with buttons straight away and before i scan it was double click not unknown device please help.

I'm trying to get a ps3 controller to work for Mugen running through WineBottler. I was using controllermate also and got one of the analog sticks (sort of) working in Mugen..but I'm pretty lost..I've tried bluetooth as well...no success..Please help?
