Most people train at least two hits on the down side of their running A-frame. It looks like Blue Boy was going for one hit, which every dog I've seen that does that looks dangerous. I've seen more dogs fall on their faces like this trying to hold a 2o2o than doing a running.
That was sooo scary! I trained a running contact with all of my dogs, I feel it is safer with the A-Frame than a 2o2o. I have not had any close calls like that, but it is still pretty hazardous. I am just glad Blue Boy is not hurt. I wonder if he is afraid of the A-Frame now?
I put my hands over my mouth in horror when I saw this. Did you take Blue Boy to a chiropractor to make sure his head, neck and shoulders are okay? Seemed like he was expecting the Aframe to be less steep. Or was his striding off on the upside? I wouldn't blame this on running contacts necessarily. My dogs have a running Aframe & I feel comfortable with their performance. That said, I can understand if you'd want Blue Boy to do a 2020.
OMG, my heart stopped while watching it! Thank you so much for sharing! I think I will stick with my 2on2off. I am so happy to hear that blue boy is ok! Please give him a hug and a kiss from me and my pups! Your video really brought tears to my eyes. I always put myself in the shoes of others and I know how scared I would have been! You handled it so nicely. Maybe having a really fast dog is not as important as we think. Keeping our best friends safe is more important. 5*S and a FAV.

Dear God! Glad he's ok. I know how you must have felt, my dog once jumped from a flight of stairs and felt in her head just like that.
