( http://www.TFLcar.com ) At an astounding 15 percent incline, Lick Skillet Road in Colorado is the steepest Country Road in America. So what happens when you try to drive a 2.5 ton brand new Range Rover down the road on ice and snow in the middle of winter with temperatures hovering near zero?

  • who would drive an $80,000 vehicle in the winter with summer tires...?it's getting late but thats the dumbest thing i've herd all day

  • @flanker271 It won't break down as long as you take care of it. The reliability rates are bullshit.

  • @Jacob19izter Thank the Germans for that : )

  • @upnewbie Unfortunately it's not mandatory. You may be from Germany(?) where you have to use winter tires in snowy or icy conditions, but in Denmark where I live, you do not..

  • This has to be one of the worst reviews I've ever watched.

  • @ChronicDNA I know it is a crazy thing to do but I'm sure a select few of bimbo house wives have done it not knowing they needed snow tires. For a test like this thought, it's pretty stupid.

  • I can't believe there are still people arguing about winter tires. I'm just glad it's mandatory by the law to have winter tires here in Europe.

  • Most of the human race to be honest..... if it snows maybe once a year, your not going to fork out and buy an extra set of wheels, let alone change them.

  • Many people say that winter tires are too expensive. We have a VW Touareg which was £42,000 brand new. Pounds not dollars. Yes I lvie in the UK. We bought it second hand for £ 25,000 with only 15,000 miles on the clock. We were quoted no less that 2 weeks ago £1,100 pounds for winter tyres. Work that out in dollars if you want. TBH we had just put £700 worth of continentals on. They have a 8mm tread and they are road tires. If we had been offered the off road tyres before the continentals then..

  • jeeps are useless 4x4 good for nuthing cars.american cars and 4x4 are always piece of shit

  • @ChronicDNA The sport isn't anywhere near £/$ 80,000 ;)

  • @Peichen01 A Land Rover is far better than anything Jeep throws together and manages to get away with selling as a "4x4"! British engineers are some of the best in the world, most definitely the engineers at JLR. Lastly, Land rover is no longer an unreliable brand, it was only the 1980's models that weren't that reliable. They are the class leaders now for the world!
