Why make things harder than they have to be? Spinny Mangoes...you can't go wrong.

To stay consistent, let's keep it simple and clean. No mess, no fuss.

1. Spinach or other leafy green, as much as you can drink comfortably
2. A good handful of mango, Trader Joe's has a great frozen mango chunk option.
3. Play around with another fruit, fresh or dried. I did some raisins, why not raspberries or banana?
4 Maybe a little sea salt to balance the sweetness, and any oil you might want to add in. Your call.
5. Good water is KEY. Don't skimp. Brita-filtered tap water is NOT OPTIMAL.

Enjoy consistently for maximum results. Nothing is permanent, remember that always.
To all naysayers, tell them that you're trying something for a little while, and that they should take it easy.

Why watching this, try to stretch your neck or jog in place if you have the option. Stay active!

    I have one question... do you know if the frozen mangos from TJ's 'blanched' before packaging?

  • Good question...I never considered it. I just looked on the package and there was no note of it.

    I doubt it though...let them defrost and they look like perfectly ripe mango chunks. Im ASSuming that they are probably ok.

  • We lucked out on this apt...every other place had gross kitchens. The kitchen really does set the tone for the place, especially for bums that cook all the time!!

  • What about avocado for your good fats(even if your trying to lose weight), I heard coconut fat oss good too.

  • Avocado makes an awesome addition to a smoothie. It adds a little creaminess and is mellow in flavor, plus it adds some good low saturated fat. My personal favorite smoothie is a blueberry, banana, spinach, avocado concoction blended with orange juice and ice. Mmmmmm.

  • WOOOHOOO!!! LOVE GREEN SMOOTHIES! It's funny I just stumbled across this video- I've really been into making mango spinach smoothies for the last month. When I first got into raw, I was into the crazy combinations of fruit, veggies and superfoods, but find these days that my body is craving very simple combinations, if any! Great video! :)
