When I was up in Germany in Winter 2006, we went up to the high regions where we found a dry bob sled run. Basically you sit on a worrying small plastic board and you control your speed with a simple lever that acts as a brake, whilst flying down a narrow metal half pipe. After going down once, I felt stupid enough to go down without applying the brake at all. Twas good fun.
@mattuiop We did see Neuschwanstein in Bavaria in Nov.Lots of snow there too.We had taken a bus tour there from Munich. We also took the train from Innsbruck to Garmish-Parkenkirchen too see where the 1932 games had been.

Age is only a number. I still get excited when I see guys going ninty-two miles per hour down a sheet of ice. I'd love to hop on the back of one of those bob sleds. P.S. I still love The Rolling Stones of whom all are older than me, except Ron Wood, who is also sixty-two.
