Let's take a minute and look at this '55 Chevy pickup. First thing to grab your attention is this bright red 55 has been to several shows from "Run for the sun" to Hershey, Pa. Custom Cragar wheels sit perfectly in the oversized fenders for a little unique touch. A '73 Caprice chassis has been put in place adding stability and performance. The glass is like new and the mirrors and lenses are in excellent condition.

Inside we have a tilt wheel, AM/FM with cassette player and an overall great looking black vinyl interior. You can see that the instrument panel has been upgraded with chrome trim gauges instead of the original brown bezel. The truck bed has also been refinished with oak and stainless steel to keep the vintage look in place through the years. Power brakes and power steering keeps you in easy control should you decide to stomp it demanding the 383 cubic inch stroker to come alive. The 350 transmission was rebuilt with a shift kit and hooks up to a 12 bolt rear end. This is a truck youre not afraid to drive. Great maintenance and a thought through set up for a daily cruiser, all in one package.

This vehicle is located in our Charlotte, NC showroom. For more information, please call (704) 598-2130 or toll free (866) 542-8392.

  • "Mama take this badge from me. I can't use it anymore. Gettin' dark - too dark to see. Feels like I'm knocking on heavens door." Awesome song and a beautiful truck. Great work guys.

P.S: I like how people leave comments trying to tell a shop full of obvious professional mechanics how to do their jobs. I think it's hilarious. lol
