Pete overdosed on pills infront of a store, and "Hallelujah" was the song he heard on the radio when he passed out. It helped him pull through. Listen to the lyrics in this song, and it's tells the full story. "I sing the blues and swallow them too"; Pills.
Also, technically 7 minutes in Heaven (Atavan Halen) is considered the follow up or the events before this song occurs. The title is both a refrence to Eddie Van Halen, but translates to "7 minutes in Heaven >WITH< Atavan"
