Cool! And it was cool making the documentary with Andy and the family.

Thanks for the introduction to the Men's Chicken Dance. Loved it !

  • This is a great clip from a wonderful film. I love the combination of beautiful footage and explanation of the dances along with the moving story of one man's confrontation with the devastation of alcoholism on the pueblo, in his family and in himself. He overcomes the legacy of addiction by drawing on the deeper legacy of pueblo traditions. In so doing he himself becomes a powerful transmitter of those traditions. Beautiful.

  • Thank you so much! It's great to get the message out there!

  • Great!

  • This brief clip re-animated for me a prior showing -the singing, the dancing, the colors, yes, and also doubled my admiration for the triumph of spirit/mind that can indeed overcome a devastating disease. Terrific contribution on behalf of a most deserving people. Thank you, Marilyn Hunt, for making this beautiful film.

  • What a powerful reminder of the importance of hertiage. The clip is so short--an enticement to see more. Good luck with passing the word.

  • Seeing the whole thing is tremendous, but this 3 minute clip whets the appetite. So lucky to be able to see these dances. Thanks.

  • Fabulous! Thank you so much for this wonderful clip. I plan to order the DVD definitely.
