Thanks to Jeff Daniels, its staff and contributors for The Purple Rose theater in Chelsea, MI. It brings good honest theater to a small Michigan town and is one of the good reasons to live here.

Give me a little break, my dear. You are a good one. You are great. I'm glad everytime I watch one of your movies and it brings me the pleasure to see a sensivitve, honest, loving work. You don't fit in the "celebrity model", no scandals, no dirty stuff, just a regular guy, a guy living in a little town up in Michigan. And making a dlightful music. Love you!

I like to think bomb squad expert Harry from "Speed" survived the bomb blast at Howard Payne's (Dennis Hopper) house and became not-too-bright Harry from "Dumb and Dumber". Both played by Jeff Daniels.
