  • Absolutely gorgeous.......what a voice and what a song.

  • "The Don would like you to sing 'Jean' for him, Johnny. Perhaps persuade some of your friends in show business to do the same." "Sure, Mike. I'll do anything for my Godfather. You know that."

  • @4miler I didn't know that Matt Monro sang Jean. Do you know if it's on YT? I need to look for it because I love Matt's voice, and nobody can sing Born Free like Matt. Thanks

  • I just heard Al Martino's version for the first time ever. All my life, I've heard Oliver's version of Jean, and I've heard Jean on Lawrence Welk, and I've heard it sung by The Ray Conniff Singers, and I concluded that there is no bad version of this song! It's so beautiful, but I think I like Oliver's version best only because I've heard his since I was a little boy, and it brings back fond memories of simple times, and I can hear it over and over, and it never gets old. God Bless!

  • Wonderful! Five*****

  • another great song by Al Martino. glad you posted this one,can you also post My Cherie Thank you

  • GO ON AL!! :)

  • Wow! I didn't know Al had sung this one! I'd only heard the Matt Monro version! Brilliant, as usual, from Mr Martino! And 'hello' to his family.

  • Beyond AWESOME !!!!!!
