I grew up on Red's song that was one of his best songs ever. It taught me how we need to treat others. It also brings back great memories.

My dad was a truck driver. He died in a roll over accident. We played this song at his funeral. He loved this song. I love you and miss you daddy, Rest In Paradise, I will see you again one day :'(

My dad drives an 18 wheelers and always will be in his blood I guess. This song makes me cry its so sad but, good to know that boy got to ride in a 18 wheeler. Heard this when I was young and rode in a truck. My God keep all truck drivers safe and allow them to make it home safely.

My son, the father of three, has just gone back to driving 18 wheelers. He doesn't like being on the road, he'd rather be home with his wife and kids, but with the economy the way it is...
But I can see him talking to a little boy on the radio, and dropping by to give a poor little crippled boy a ride and not thinking about it twice. I love this song. It's always made me cry.

My best friend drives 18 wheelers n this song makes me sad. He has two kids n a wife. So josh beach roll on safe n make sure u come home to ur family. Love ya bud
