This lessons shows you how to add vibrato to a bend. It's pretty straight forward really, and should not be too hard once you know how!

Taught by Justin Sandercoe.

Full support at the justinguitar web site where you will find hundreds of lessons on a wide range of subjects, and all the scales and chords that you will ever need! There is a great forum too to get help, no matter what the problem.

And it is all totally free, no bull. No sample lessons, no memberships, no free ebook. Just tons of great lessons :)

To get help with this lesson (and for further info and tabs), find the Lesson ID in the video title (like ST-667 or whatever) and then look it up on the Lesson Index page of justinguitar.com

Have fun :)

  • "Let it come down a bit and PUSH it back up... and from here let it come down back up, come down back up. Just let it kinda go where it wants to go. Don't find the pressure of it. Once you get the feel for it, start doing it a little bit faster and it will be alot easier.." xDD

  • finally a teacher who doesnt play 247 classic rock riffs before beginning the lesson

  • @macman8680 indeed. he does not address the mechanics of bending.

  • @topdog2328 but you don't bend in classical. you can bend with the thumb behind the neck, but it's much harder.

  • You have a vagina on your lips

  • best guitar teacher on youtube .... Period !!!!!!

  • i've got blisters on my fingers!!

  • My left hand technique is from classical guitar playing where keeping your thumb on the back of the fretboard is the proper way of playing. It is hard for me to put my thumb over the fretboard :(

  • Mmm... How can you say pro guitarist do not bend with the pinky? Actually, lots of them do it. The pinky is the weakest finger but the other fingers help just like when you bend with the ring finger. You let me down with that statement.

  • strange when you have to describe how to play guitar step by step. You have to think about it. I've never taught anyone before. It's tough.

  • @TheSoadisthebest I was confused with that too. it's bending and then "releasing" the bend down to its original point and then bending it back up a number of times. You want it to be in rhythm as well.
