A number of people called our attention to this clip from the popular TV series ER. It really is amazing for secular television.

The "Fair Use" law allowed us to teach from it, without violating copyright laws. It has wonderful evangelistic potential, so please use it all over the Internet.

  • @MarcZERO1980 Read the header: The "Fair Use" law allowed us to teach from it, without violating copyright laws.

  • @thewayofthemaster RE-READ WHAT I SAID. It matters NOT that you have stayed within the laws of the state. You have broken the laws that YOUR GOD hath made!

  • @MarcZERO1980 There are no violations of ANY law with using this clip. End of story.

  • @MarcZERO1980 LOL u got pwned

  • It's the dude from breaking bad!

  • @MarcZERO1980 You got owned!

  • Where in the bible does it say specifically that if you sin you will go to hell?

Ray Comfort using a melo-dramatic scene used to buy in viewers to a soap opera to "teach" that for a finite sin you will receive an infinite punishment. Be careful, Ray! Under your own rules and interpretations you are coming perilously close to qualifying for your hell yourself. Evilangelist.

  • @MarcZERO1980 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

  • The idea that "true guilt is fear of punishment" suggests a rather petty, simplistic view of humanity. Guilt is the exact opposite of that; guilt is the knowledge that no punishment could possibly assuage our regret. Not even forgiveness does that fully.

    Moron.

  • @niinja2 The justice is taken out on Christ. Just like when someone pays bailout for someone else. The fine is paid.

  • @RocknForJesus

"the mercy would be him not going to Hell"

so then justice would be him going to hell

we established earlier that the guilt and pain that will be in my own heart from repenting would be justice enough.

So justice is just repenting, no hell is necessary, or?

"and the beauty of grace is that it makes life unfair"

if god is merciful then he is unfair? unjust?

  • @niinja2 the mercy would be him not going to Hell, and the beauty of grace is that it makes life unfair. I deserve to go to Hell. The justice was done on another man who paid my fine, and I am freed thanks to him.
