  • I think Kenny Chesney should've done this song. He does a better cover of it.

  • I think John Rich did a very good job. He has great talent and he managed to stay out of trouble while doing it. Way to go John. A John Rich fan!

  • I loved this. So sad they cut out the part at the end where John goes to George and shakes his hand then gets him to sign his guitar. Everyone did that after John did.

  • that background video sure as hell aint Amarillo!!

  • @jshwilliams2012 I don't know why they made John skip the second verse: "They took my saddle in Houston, broke my leg in Santa Fe. Lost my wife & a girlfriend somewhere along the way. But I'll be looking for 8 when they pull that gate and I hope that judge ain't blind. Amarillo by morning, Amarillo's on my mind." I do think Chesney should have been there.

  • i think tey just let john do it cuz hes from amarillo

  • john rich did it well but I still think Kennys version was better.

  • John is from Amarillo

  • He's just a tad off on keeping the tune straight....but he does an OK job....

  • boring and a lackluster performance.

  • Play that West Texas fiddle son

  • Stay out of trouble? He needs to go back to karaoke. Sorry.
