I don't understand. The enemy of knowledge?
"An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge."

faith of a mustard seed. i have it. we are.so small...microscopic. its in the air...check out chemtrail science...its for control of the masses...media, medication, war, music, societal dysfunction, family dysfunction, social chaos, all prophecy leads to this time...the spirit of god is moving fast like the hurricane. people get ready...yaweh is here

know ledge. ok now i get it. satan is the flesh, sin is what we have, diseased thinking? i don't think so. it's a fallen world, and we only know what we know because we learn and adapt, right?

This comment is for the man with the glasses… .BELIEF IS A MOTHER EFFER What freaking faith did Lazarus have when the man called Jesus allegedly raised from the dead?

@419Films Christians (and I'm talking true Christians because there are many many people who say they believe but do not) hope is not of this world. Otherwise, it wouldn't seem like there is any benefit to being a follower of Christ.
If you really think that this very short life is all there is to it then you should want to take in a much as possible out of it. Surely that is why many people kill for things they want because they have no idea of a final day of judgment and of any eternity.

@Iamajanitor01 But nothing is worth anything for those who do not believe. Because there is no hope for those who do not believe.
I've never understood this line of thinking. Assuming that people have no hope because they don't follow your faith is, personally, ridiculous. If that's the case, why do atheists bother trying to do anything worthwhile? Explain that to me, please.

dude u are very right

Well, God appeals to all intellects and all ages and all everything. The only thing that God does not appeal to are those who do not believe. Critical thinking is basic to Christianity. The bible tells us to "test the spirits". Critical thinking is a good trait... for believers. But nothing is worth anything for those who do not believe. Because there is no hope for those who do not believe. And if that makes you upset then think about having hope by believing. See if you can.

So then what's your problem? First you said that peaceful nature would be God taking away our free will, now you're saying it's a good thing.
-
@TheOtium I didn't say that if peace was our nature that we'd be mindless robots. It was Adam and Eve's nature until the rebelled at the coaxing of Satin
Don't you understand what being like a child means? It doesn't mean become innocent and humble. It means be spontaneous. Children (infants) are spontaneous. Time doesn't exist to them. They don't take life seriously. They know it's a game.

What it means to be a child depends on the context of the speaker. Clearly in the context in which the word was used the person I was responding to was referring to ignorance.
It had nothing to do with being spontaneous or time. You are the one who doesn't understand.
