@Government389 Yup agree with you, the mixing of the vocal especially being female of a nice mid range is done gently and rather warmly.. yes, Draconian is likely about the best going! its not bad but it takes long really long to get into it.. drums don't hit approach and rise til so late... oh come on lets answer the beginning the middle is where on here then it's gotta turn and transistion so quick it's not got a good long enough finish.. to many instrumentals just sound sorta lost a long time search searching so on and so on.. sorry for the music theory but its hard to listen what seems a longgggg time.. oh the piano at last and ta da done oh wow for such work sorta lame.

Look gothic/Doom metal or not, what makes Gothic/Doom metal so good is that you have a lead or accompanying female vocalist along with it. Additionally, the lyrics with good slow-style guitar work is pivitol in excellent gothic/doom metal. You can't have gothic/doom metal with just only male vocals but YOU CAN have gothic/doom metal with just female vocals. Therefore the female vocalist in this genre is a MUST.
Draconian does this extremely well. Excellent music.

if you put "Draconian" on google, it will bring you the band website, and at the description of it, the band ITSELF says "Gothic/Doom Metal band" ... so... if they call themselves Gothic/Doom Metal band there is no more fair than to classify them as it. I guess the discussion about the genre ends here =p
