how come you play the bass drum with you left foot if your not a lefty drummer?

Hey I've been playing drums for about 3 years now but still haven't really managed to strengthen my left hand to do those quick ghost notes used in the last couple of patterns. How can I improve?

i do it to build strength in my left foot so my double kick playing is more fluid, try it, it works!

@HowlingRabbit334 On my actual drum kit I have the bass drum and hi-hat set up the other way round so it's not a problem for me. For these old videos I simply swapped the pedals round on the floor. For my latest videos I learnt to play on a standard right handed kit. Thanks for your interest! Rob
