Merry meet!

The Witches Runes' lyrics were, as far as I know, written by Doreen Valiente & Gerald Gardner.
I've been little into the wiccan thing soome time ago, so I took their words and a few years ago, Chained Sally gave me this song and I gave them voice & lyrics ;)

Nice rendition of this lovely classic of Witchcraft! But it's not "scrounge" - it is scourge - referring to one of the sacred tools of Wicca (the scourge, which is like a whip).

the only variation in the lyrics are : instead of here i come to call ye forth is only here i come to call. (in the song)

then instead of Earth and water is : water , earth, air and fire.... then the chorus goes on for the 1rst time after this paragraph :cords and censer scrounge and knife etc..... i think they do match. they were just in little bit of a different order. thanks.
