If you've read many American comics then you'll notice that most (if not all) superheroes are based on (or very much like) the various gods of different religions, and their adventures and misadventures are often very similar to the corresponding mythologies.

I bought THIS DVD just because I'm a die-hard fan. Brandon is probably the best replacement available, but the script is really bad. A stiff, selfish, show-off of a Superman, illegitimate son, weak plot, Superman NOT sensing the huge ammount of Kryptonite on the continent and the anti-climax ending being the ultimate slap in the face when it comes to the history of the character. What a petty...
