Rick Wakeman welcomes his guest Andy Fairweather-Low to talk about the fascinating and exciting career of one of Rocks most experienced and well respected artists. Andy recounts the hilarious Rock n Roll tales and determination that led to his rise to fame in the 60s, as the front man and guitarist for chart topping teen idol band Amen Corner. As the 70s dawned and a fledgling solo career developed, little did he know what was to evolve in the coming years(52 Mins Approx)

He released several fruitful solo albums before effectively becoming the in demand player and ultimate Guitarist to the stars, building an extraordinary reputation that has endured to this day. Andy suggests many of the secrets to his success, whilst his lively, down-to-earth character is brought to life as he amusingly describes his devotion to the guitar and the path that gave him the green light to a longstanding career with Eric Clapton's Band & an alliance with luminaries such has The Who, Roger Waters & George Harrison.

Not only does Rick engage this phenomenal musician on his welcome return to further solo studio recordings in recent years, namely the acclaimed 'Sweet Soulful Music' album, but calls upon Andy to shed light on his heavy involvement in the huge transatlantic benefit tour in 1983 with Clapton, Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, Ronnie Wood & Steve Winwood. What was the aim of the benefit concerts? And what effect did a tour and subsequent visit to the U.S president's White House with the most significant musicians in the Rock world have on Andy?

Running Time: 52 Minutes Approx.
