Is Muhammad, in Name, Character or Deed Found in the Bible?

The answer, of course, is yes. But, if you watch this video, you'll find out why is doesn't look good for the Muslims.

Notice that the word has a totally different meaning from Hebrew than in the Arabic rendering of 'Muhammad'. This is where Muslims merge the lexicon to make up new meanings to well estalished words. The 'auditory similarity' I speak of comes from the root in Hebrew that follows the Arabic [MHD; Mem-He-Dalet]. However, to ignore the plain structure of the final word, 'machmud', in favor of the Islamic/Arabic rendering is a plain fiction. Let me give an illustration.

The plain rules of morphology inform us that 'cat' is to 'cat' what 'dog' is to 'dogs'. The same rules apply within Hebrew or Arabic or Syriac or Aramaic [all Semitic], but not ACROSS them. For Muslims to base the argument on the root letters alone is to pass over the meaning of this word in hopes of assigning a new meaning based on theology, rather than a rational exploration of linguistics. The resultant assassination of the Hebrew lexicon is shameful.

I took up the challenge that Muslims lay down about Muhammad's name being found in the Bible.

Ahmed Deedat relied on the Hebrew word 'Machmad' [Hb, Mem-Chaf-Dalet; cf. Song of Solomon 5:16] and forced in a few letters just to make the word look like 'Muhammad'. What they don't seem to realize is that if the word were pronounded 'M-U-H-A-M-M-A-D' and not 'M-A-K-M-A-D', the Hebrew would be spelled 'Mem-VAV-Chaf-Mem-Dalet'.

1) Bible says clearly in 2nd Peter 1:20, 21 states that what ever written in Bible is told by God himself.

2)Bible says who ever add a word more or less from his words, his name also removed from the Book of Life and he is cursed.

Muhammad is not in Song of Solomon 5:16 because if he is then he is also in other verses from Hebrew Bible. This is what is means if we use that word as Muhammad

Hosea 9:6| Muhammad was buried.

2 Chronicles 36:19| Muhammad destroyed by fire

1 Kings 20:6| Muhammad taken away from house

From this verses we can see that Muhammad is not in Song of Solomon 5:16

@ThePhilipzy that was the pauline school of christianity. believe what you will but please please study about the different early churches some worshipped Isa (Jesus pbuh) as God, but the apostles  had a different theology. A lot of decisions were made for you around 320 AD for example, when Arianism was considered a herresy, as well as any attempt to liken the trinity to the states of water (ice steam etc).

According to Jewish law (and Noahide Laws), Christians are not monotheists:

"1) Prohibition of Idolatry: You shall not have any idols before God."

If you take Jesus as your god, you transgress this very first law

Then learn about Islam and compare with Judaism: same basic things even in the most tiny details.

Now, how someone without Jewish background could have brought this knowledge to mankind in the Arabic language?

The Hebrew word is an adjective or term of endearment. Even Muslims know that the word "Mohammad" is a title, and not his proper name.

So there is a clear distortion here. And honestly, what was "pleasant" about a so-called prophet who slays Jewish believers in the hundreds or thousands?

And if "Song of Songs" is a mere secular poem, then it would not have been included in the Hebrew bible; it is about relationship of Israel with G-d.

5) Moses warned us about it in Deutronomy 18:20, Jesus warned us in Mathew 24:11. In the Book of Jude verse 4 also gives us the warning about false prophets. Lot more.........
