In a nation obsessed with gaudy dance numbers and Himesh Reshammya styled cheap imitation of classical music, true musicians like the Silk Route have given up trying. Given up what could have been historical milestones of soulful music from India. I am talking about 'Beatles' kind of status. However we are happy with Beedi Jalayile for a year or two before moving on to Sheila and Munni. This song is a piece of mastery. Hope enough people realize.
