Wish we could have seen some of this last night! To bad trolley service is now very limited.

No, the trolley buses in San Francisco are part of the normal transit infracture of SF. The cable cars in SF are for tourists. And what makes the ones in Phili original when any other major city outside of the USA has them: Moscow, Kiev, Nice, Milano, Belgrade, Perm, Genoa, etc....

@ianjohn05 no, san fran has tourist ones which blow. The original ones are in PHILADELPHIA.

Ohio has trolley busses.... COOL! I thought San Francisco was the only American city that had them. Learned something new.

Nice, a white Bonneville SSE from the late 80`s or early 90`s! Those cars are getting rare!

I remember seeing that as a kid growing up in Edmonton, lberta Canada they ran old Brill coashes made by Can Car, I now live in Calgary Alberta where our bus fleet is almost exclusively Flyerswe have a fleet of close to 1000 coaches

Hmmf. That can't possibly be good for the electronics of the bus. The Vancouver trolleys would have dewired almost immediately because of the power loss detection system to prevent violent dewirements.

I worked that night and boy was it fun

You might get lucky and see a few still sitting around in the "bone yard" out beside the garage. As far as them being in service....yea right. Those days are done!
Tuesday night would've been better, ice was hanging off the wires. By Wednesday, the rain and melting in the early morning got rid of most of the ice.
For those wondering, due to road construction on I-75, Dayton only has the "franchise run" in the morning and afternoon running on Rts 1 and 2. As the I-75 rebuilding completes, the trolleys will return to service.
