What they are doing is called nuno felting (laminate felt) You use wool and a cotton gauze or silk chiffon. You soak it with soapy water and roll it about 150 times (300 for scarves) It looks great when done! Throwning the felted fiber is called fulling the fiber. P.S. The hand carders they're using are arounf $60-$70. Great vid, thank you for taking the time to show us nuno felting! :)
