CATIA V6 R2011x integrates the designer workspace process for collaboration, enabling designers to proceed with their design investigations at their own pace.
Designers can now pursue complex design activities on a single product reference while controlling when changes are propagated between team members, facilitating their collaboration. The designer workspace enables designers to work on a stable reference of the master without updates being automatically incorporated. The workspace owner decides when to promote his modifications to the master reference, and when to take into account modifications performed to the master data.
