I'm very new to Saddle Seat so I have been taking lessons like mad to catch up to the other girls in my riding class. After years of being in a western saddle I mysteriously stumbled head-first into this amazing style and will spend the next several months getting the hang of it. These video-clips are all from the first few weeks riding at my University and even my very first show under any seat at all. Feel free to post tips, but refrain from being rude or overly critical. Trust me, I'm never going to win a World Championship doing this, I'm in it for the fun and the experience.

Yeah saddle seat takes a lot of practice! I was like that too! I will be sure to check those videos out! and I am interested getting a EQS degree!

You and I have a similar story. I also rode western for years but then I started riding saddle seat after I bought a horse that was suitable for the discipline. I have been working with him for 2 years, but hopefully we will be able to show this year.

Omg! That is where I want to go! It is like my dream to go there. My riding instructor graduated from there. I am going to visit it this fall.

Thanks! You should see my newer stuff, my back doesn't look so messed up now and I'm gaining more control of my elbows. So are you interested in the EQS degree or just to ride?
