Lightning Flash

A huge bolt of lightning hits a power source in Menomonie, WI. The city power was out for about 12 hours. I just happened to be filming the sky when it happened accross the street. (2007). ps-the hair on my body was standing up and i was speechless right after it happened. (the big flash happens at the end of the video)

the reason your hair stood up on end is because you had a feeder bolt hit DIRECTLY in front of you right before the main bolt hit. There were three separate strikes, and the first two happened right in front of you. you can actually hear the first two, they sound like regular, but loud, static shocks.
