Sounds like the track in the marshalling yard isn't too happy about the weight! Wonder when a locomotive or train of any description used those yards!

@edj66 Actually its not the weight so much as the fact that steam locos dont bend when going round curves. The sounds are those of the flanges on the wheels playing the rails like a violin. These were the most common and evocative sounds of my youth in the 50s/60s, living in a steam town.
