@TheAFTONlynn Nah, they won't be able to talk to us through their gnashing of teeth and cries of suffering. Sadly it always seems nonbelievers have to hate on believers. It is a principality we must deal with. I always wonder if they misunderstand that we have freedom OF religion, not freedom FROM religion. If they don't like it find another copy of the song, it's a simple resolution to do so, after all.

@chadem311 I am non-violent as well but that does not mean I do not like guns or own guns to protect myself and my family. My point is, I think it is sad, that non-believers must find offense and make verbal assaults on believers; after all, we all bleed the same. If God bothers people so much maybe they need to rethink their stance & ask themselves why? Just saying. I should hope no one here would refuse to help another, if they understand the premise of this song. Why can't we all be friendly?

That said, this is a great song. I never thought of it having to do anything with God. It's one human speaking to another. Anything else is conjecture.

Why all the hatred just because someone said "pretend this is God speaking to you", why must all you non believers get your panties in a twist? Grow up. God may use anything and anyone to speak to you, whether you believe or not.. Having faith and love and strength inside yourself comes from God silly kids. God is EVERYTHING. and everything around you. God made you, show some respect. You may tell me I was right when you are dying in an eternal pit of fire.

To all unbelievers I have to say one thing, God can work through all creatures and men Godly or not and though this song may not be a God song it has been used by God to save people from a downward spiral. No one on here is bashing the atheists, to my knowledge, so perhaps you could show the same respect for us? It is after all a song about believing in something! Something can be a rock, God, or yourself. Allow each their own I think J.P. would want us to be kind to each other. He wasnt violent
