Really great video! I like how you relate it to what people already know, and cover a lot of the major features. I haven't heard the security aspect given much attention in overviews such as this one, you made some good points. It's kinda surprising how relevant this is, years after you made it.
@demoniccurses9 hehe, I'm romanian as well! (I know some hungarian too but that's not my native language) and got paid in the first 2 years of college for good grades (bursa),graduated in 2009, that's how I managed to put together this PC, part by part, with that money and what I got for b-day and Christmas... study hard and when you'll go to college/university they'll pay you if you're good ;)
@Szeba86 it's called romanian standards (romania being probably the shitiest country on this fucking planet) and sadly it's my home country :(
tbh I'm a highschool student so I'm not doing that much of a productive work so I'm in no need for TB space; the HDD is, ironically, the least crappiest part of my PC;
I never complained about the space even once; the CPU on the other hand.......
@demoniccurses9 damn, you need and upgrade more than I do, and only a 460 HDD? how on earth do you manage to survive with such little space nowadays? I have a 1TR Samsung Sata2 HDD (partitioned in 2, from which 50GB is for windows and the rest is for storing stuff) +a Seagate (after 3 or 4 Maxtors, new ones Sata 2, died on me) 500GB (backup purposes for important stuff only) and an old WD Black ATA HDD 80GB (this slow oldie seems to be more stable than the Seagete) &is not enough
@Szeba86 well, how about a crappy Intel Dual Core 2.6 GHz, 3 GB DDR2 and nVidia 9400 (I know, at least the video card it's decent -.-')
the only thing which actually makes a value in my bs of a PC is the 460GB HDD which makes dual booting pretty much the only practical solution in using both Win and Ubu;
@Sanvorae yeah, except if you backup every file that is important to you. and if you are a noob, backup means: copy your files to somewhere else so they could be safe
I'm fed up with windows crashing and security issues.- I'm off
