Lyda Hill Gives $20 Million to The Hockaday School

Lyda Hill, Hockaday Class of 1960, has committed $20 million, the largest single gift in Hockaday's history and the largest single gift from a living alumna among independent girls' schools in the nation, according to the National Association of Independent Schools. The significance of this gift is not only its staggering generosity; more importantly, it indicates that Hockaday's Centennial Campaign will be positioned by and led by the people who have made Hockaday great—our alumnae.
