Review of the Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals

Today at Flightsimulationguru.com we review the Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals.

Overall I was very impressed with this system. My only concern is that the pedals tend to move across the floor during use unless you take additional measures (beyond what's provided out of the box) to secure the pedals in place.

For anyone looking to acquire a set up rudder pedals, I'd very very comfortable recommending this product.

Ok, so here's a scream of protest (like you predicted) about saying that pedals are relatively unimportant. Ever heard of adverse yaw? Ever heard of doing slips or using cross-control or doing coordinated turns? Ever try to steer a plane on the ground without the aid of differential braking? My guess is that you have never tried to control a real aircraft and as such you do not fully appreciate the importance of pedals. The rudder is the single most effective control surface on an aircraft!

@airste172 Agreed... my point was simply that between a nice flight yolk, throttle controls and rudder (for a simulator) the rudder is the least important for someone trying to prioritize purchases. Also, for basic flight in the simulator the rudder is simply not required although yes in the real world it's very important.

well im not ahat much of a compture guy so on scale of 1 to 10 how hard is the set up and what are some games that would be good on it.

Hey I have only one question, Can I use the Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals with the CH Eclipse Yoke? Cause I like the Saitek pedals, but dislike the yoke, on the other hand I like the portability of the CH Yoke! What do you think ?
