Don't forget, unlike companies like Dell, Apple supports their hardware and software. From personal experience, if you have a problem with a Dell, they pretty much tell you to get lost. "Thanks sucker we have your money, now stop bothering us!" My gf's HD died 2 weeks after the warranty expired, they did not lift a finger to help...other than give us the finger. Apple backs up the software and hardware that you paid for, also, as Steve Jobs has said, "Apple does not ship junk"

I really liked this video. Well said. I love my Mac and I am happy to pay the price for what I get. "Over priced" I don't know about that. Over priced means that nothing else is that price and the Envy is close to or over $2000! Dell has close to $3000 towers alone, so I wouldn't say over priced, but I would say they ARE expensive! But so are BMWs, the fact that I can get just about all the same things in a Hunda hows days doesn't mean BMW is over priced. I will be looking at more of your videos

I love Apple. The only problem I have with them is, they're trying to get me to do a repair on my Late 2008 macbook pro that does not fix the issue. I still love apple though. Macs are like... 500 million times better then PCs. I have nothing but bad experiences with PCs, and I will always be a Mac girl.

i completely agree with you. its definitely the experience that makes it worth it. i was brought up in a windows home and taught that apple computers were overpriced shiny toys for the rich. My friend upgraded to a new 2011 macbook pro and gave me his older 2008 macbook, and the thing works! no issues at all. thats the experience. now im in the market for the new 2011 iMac and i I'm not looking back. if push comes to shove, and i need windows, ill just go buy it and load it using bootcamp

This is my biggest pet hate, when the word 'overpriced' is used in place of 'expensive' - esp. when EVEN NOW, people are making bullshit comparisons such as singling out the iMac (AIO OEM) and using the word 'overpriced' (instead of a % more expensive initially) just because they can build something themselves for cheaper - ridiculous!

Every different form factor whether OEM or custom built will offer different price / performance / advantages for different people. I'll elaborate upon a reply.

Generally agreed with this. There are so many factors to determine price of a product such as included software, quality of components such as internal mic & webcam, materials and construction - list goes on.

Only thing is the difference between 'Expensive' & 'Overpriced'. For example - a workstation might be 'expensive' to some users as it offers features that not everyone will need. 'Overpriced' (Charging too high for) implies that the same product can be made & sold for a much cheaper price.

This is true man, but tbh this only makes macs worthwhile for people not that good with technology. Anyone good enough with computer tech should build a custom pc and get much better tech specs, plus they'll be able to manage their computer much more efficiently and will get an experience much better than a mac. But basically Macs are good for people not too tech savvy, PC's should be for more experienced computer users.
