July 8 (Bloomberg) -- Warren Buffett, chief executive officer of Berkshire Hathaway Inc., talks about the debt ceiling debate and the U.S. economy. Buffett, speaking with Betty Liu on Bloomberg Television's "In the Loop," also discusses his views on acquisitions, the labor market and Todd Combs. (Source: Bloomberg)
understand this, Warren is a long term trader. VERY long term. He certainly didn't sell everything before 2008. He did not see it comming.
Noticed he said, we LEARNED leman brothers was not operating in a vacum. He didn't say we KNEW...
That is a massive difference. He works of fundamental market forces. Value, demand, and time in market.
That will ALWAYS be effective.

@viewervideo011242234 I think what he i saying is invest in companies which will benefit the most from a recovery. These are generally cyclical stocks such as automobile companies.

Im not well versed in investing; how do you 'invest against a recession' - a 'recession' isnt a company you buy into?!?
