Columbia MO USA: SWAT Raid on home with children present (SWAT exits van at 3:50)

Inventory on the search show 4 crack rocks and 2 pipes were found, along with $4,000 in a money box (which was seized). The old woman in this video was arrested and charged with a paraphernalia offense.

The SWAT team exits the van around the 3:50 mark. We would particularly like to point your attention to the dialogue that happens at 7:30

@gmj2012 What does being black have to do with this? Why is that always part of the argument? They followed procedure, and they did it by the book. They dont just pick a house and raid it, they have to have been ordered into the house by a chief, or other leader. As far as the kids go, how is that relevant? They cant pick a time for there to be no kids, so what do they do? Wait, ask them nicely if they have drugs? They were nice, and they did as directed. Here, you get the last word...

Handcuffs for the victim's safety? WTF? You're not under arrest but we have to handcuff you for YOUR safety! How does being in handcuffs make the victims safe in any way? Notice it's a black family as well, a 16 year old girl is being told to calm down while a SWAT guy holds a gun on her, then they are read their rights even though SWAT tells them they are NOT under arrest. WTF? After all this, no crime had been committed! No drugs were found. 4 year old boy too. Everything's fine? guns on kids.

@1badmonster People are insanely unaware that cuffing everyone on sight is standard procedure as all contacts are considered potential hazards to themselves and the officers.

Well cant say it's ok to SWAT raid civilians, but i can't say they behave bad, they are not agressive to the women, they dont handcuf everybody like in other raids, the old lady is left alone and to normaly sit in chair, in some other raid case the grandma got broken arm after agressive handcuf procedure, they also try to calm down everybody rather than shout to shut up like a scumbag would.
