Amazing show, probably the best thing the BBC have put out in a decade.
I think many people were disapointed because they expected it to be a British version of Generation Kill, rather than a drama.

great moviemaking. ten out of ten for all aspects of film making, even the choice of the cast. This was exceptional film-making. Whoever made this deserves the BAFTA they won and the cast also. Great stuff. Brits make the best drama in my opinion.

Nice to see a drama about the effects of warfare. People should remember that no matter what you agree with or not, front line soldiers risk their lives no matter what and it's not their choice to be where they are. In fact, any soldier worth their salt would rather NOT fire a shot...But sometimes it's necessary.
