Jazzy dances to his favorite song

Jazzy, our Eleonora cockatoo (like Snowball), dances to his favorite song: 5 Years Time, by Noah and the Whale. He first heard part of this song, as many of us did, on a Saturn ad; he showed a lot of interest in it, so we tracked it down and bought the mp3 so he could listen and dance to it.

How old is jazzy? and did you get him hand reared? just questions coz i'm getting mine in 7 weeks :]

@Tnem56 We think Jazzy is 11-12 years old. We've had him for a little over 4 years and were told he was 7 when we got him (see my more recent comment about Craig's list).

His previous owners only had him for a few months when they found that one of them was alergic to cockatoo dust! They had rescued him from a nasty situation and were told by his previous owners that he came from the Tropicana in Las Vegas. We verified that he has a chip that was inserted in Vegas, but that's about it.

Greg ~~ This is Karen; I sat next to you on the plane from Tucson to Phoenix. My daughter and I LOVED this, especially when Jazzy lays his head all the way down from side to side. We cracked up! What a cutie! Hope you had a great vacation.

@eegorr That's really cool! We just got our Medium about 2 days ago. They said he is 4 years old. We named him Coco:) We've been giving him fruits, and mixed seed. We'll get him started on pellets pretty soon. Every time someone leaves the room he screams. He's starting to get better luckily. My dad can pet him but he sometimes lunges at me when he's in his cage. It's really a great feeling to rescue such an amazing animal though. I'm glad to see your bird's in a way better enviornment.
