Russia to Move Missiles Near Poland: Analysis

Dennis Sandole, Professor at the Institute for Conflict Analysis and Resolution at George Mason University, discussing Russian plans to deploy missiles near the Polish border. Sandole examines this cold war style move as a reaction to US intentions to deploy a missile shield in Poland and the Czech Republic. Sandole sees this not just as a warning to President-Elect Obama but an opportunity as well for Obama to demonstrate his skills at conflict resolution and to deescalate the situation. What russia did to Poland is unforgivable.

-Occupied it along with Austria, and Germany

-Katyn forest massacre

-Helping the nazi's take it over

-Made us work in your forced labor camps in Serbia

-continued killing Polish citizens even after we signed a truce during WW2

-Had a communist hold on Poland after WW2

-And stalin is the reason we aren't mentioned or heard about in history books or anywhere else

russia and germany have this sick idea of wanting to wipe Poland off the map

Poland needs to develop it's own nuclear program, end of story. If NATO and/or USA cannot or don't want to guarantee its security then Poland has every right to develop and implement weapons of mass destruction on it's soil in order to defend it's people against the Russians.
