Mishka, short film by Yuliya Lanina.
Mishka is a playful depiction of human nature and of our culture. In "Mishka" we follow a creature possessing both human and teddy bear attributes as he lives a life of voyeurism and complacency in a cabaret setting. Although he does not involve himself in the lewd mechanized behavior of the environment he is content to remain immobile in his life. He is presented with an opportunity to better his existence when he is carried off to a land of innocence. However, his greed overcomes all other desires and he is instantly transported to an environment full of evil and hellish things, and is condemned to a life of senseless mechanization. He is robbed of his (unitilized) freedom he had possessed in the cabaret, and is instead damned to the same mechanized fate of its characters.
